STEUTE Moves to Larger Quarters

STEUTE recently moved to their new, expanded North American headquarters in Ridgefield, Connecticut.

This move provides them with a larger warehouse to better serve their customers growing number of requests for warehousing and just-in-time (JIT) delivery. In addition, it provides them with a new conference center where customers and interested OEMs can participate in workshops … such as their newly developed tutorial program regarding "The Evaluation & Selection of Wireless Technology for Medical Foot Switch Applications".

Steute is well-known for their expertise in the design and production of functionally, ergonomically, and aesthetically-optimized foot-operated switches for medical device manufacturers – including both cabled and wireless models. Typical applications include electro-surgical generators, dermatology treatment equipment, fluoroscopes, urology tables, x-ray equipment, ultrasonic systems, endoscopic surgery systems, biopsy sampling systems, laser-based treatment equipment, positioning tables, bone saws, and dental chairs.

Optional design features include reed or micro switch digital contact closures, two-stage operation, analog control, protective braces, custom colors, special markings/icons, customer selected cable and connectors, a variety of actuators styles, AP and IP X8 ratings. These fully CE-compliant units meet IEC 60601, UL and CSA requirements, and the European Medical Device Directive (93/42/EEC).
